Assisting the Moderator
The primary role of the Deputy Moderator is to assist the Moderator in carrying out their duties and responsibilities. This includes presiding over church meetings, sessions of the Synod, and other gatherings when the Moderator is unavailable.
Representing the Church
The Deputy Moderator may represent the Church of South India at various official functions, events, and ecumenical gatherings, especially when the Moderator cannot attend.
